Kenny Miracle is an independent filmmaker who has spent the last 20 years creating mission-driven films. Most of them are focused on raising awareness around commercial sexual exploitation and ways to prevent it.
He started making videos at his high school in Southeast Missouri. After completing film school, he spent several years working at a post production studio and teaching video editing classes at local universities.
He always had a desire to use filmmaking as a creative tool to bring awareness and inspire people towards action. But it wasn’t until he worked on the award-winning documentary Nefarious: Merchant of Souls, about sex trafficking around the world, that he developed a passion for documentary filmmaking. He has since made many films, with the most recent one premiering at the 2024 HollyShorts Film Festival.
Today, Kenny lives in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area with his three daughters.
